In Short
On the edge of Drexel's campus, this Greek grill offers all the charm of a B.Y.O.B., with a fireplace, tiny windowside tables, and laid-back service. Don't look for fancy fusion ere, just authentic, home-style Greek dishes ranging from hefty to light. Start with basics like rice stuffed in tender grape leaves, creamy and subtly garlicky hummus or lightly grilled calamari. The moussaka is perfect: not too cheesy, with just the right amount of eggplant.

After reading favorable reviews, my friend and I were very excited to try Mokas, even braving a thunderstorm to make it there. To our surprise, when we got there (on a Thursday night), the restaurant was completely EMPTY! So you'd think that the service would be quick and attentive - WRONG! Not only did our waitress not have a clue, she was slow, awkward, and had no motor skills. In addition, our food was completely mediocre and unsatisfying. We had the worst calamari ever - it was tough and flavorless. The best part of the meal was the pita bread, which was in short supply, and we were charged extra for a second helping! Don't bother making the trip here, better off going to Bitar's in the food court.

This up-and-coming place definitely deserves a visit. The fireplace made it all happen in a cold winter night. The food was good and hearty and made for a great value. I would definitely go there again.
