SCI Are True Professionals

Pardon the long review but I wish more people would write reviews this detailed because I think we can all use the help in finding a good contractor and understanding what makes them good.
We needed somebody to replace all of our front window flashings and repair some wood that had rotted behind them. Whoever installed them before we bought the house did a poor job and they were actually directing water towards the house. When it rained heavily we would get water behind the walls.
SCI are true professionals. Alexey first provided a thorough estimate. He took close-up pictures of all the problem areas, explained to me what he saw and made recommendations on the best way to fix. He detailed his plans with prices in a written proposal which was scanned and emailed to me. He was able to work with us on the price as we had a tight budget constraint. The price was definitely reasonable....not the cheapest quote, but for the quality of work they did I think it was a great deal.
We had to reschedule a few times but throughout the whole process Alexey was always easy to reach by phone and flexible with dates. The day of the project, he was there @ 8am sharp and had 2 other guys with him. They had two trucks with any/all equipment they would need and worked pretty quickly. They had the old capping off before I even stepped outside to say hello.
I stood out and watched them for a while and was popping in and out throughout the morning. I could see that this crew pays close attention to detail and Alexey himself seemed to take pride in the quality of his crew's work. Some guys just don't like to cut corners. Alexey is one of those guys.
They took 1/2 day to finish the job and it looks great . The capping is tightly fitted around our windows and pefectly angled at the sills and the top of the window so water will now run away from the house. The caulking between the brick exterior and the window capping was very neatly run. We have some unique arches over the 2nd floor windows and they cut the flashing for a perfect fit. I've never seen windows that looked so water tight. They cleaned up quickly when finished and didn't leave a trace of evidence behind.
SCI stands behind their work and said they would fix anything if there was proof of leaking but Alexey was confident that we would not be getting any more water behind the walls.
I will definitely be reaching out to SCI for the next project. It can never hurt to get a quote from them and if it is competitive, the quality of work by this crew makes choosing SCI a no brainer.
