great place to dance, friendly people. Ive been to tiki bobs NUMEROUS times and even I, who tends to be very picky, have fun every time i go. They play music that everyone can listen to not just unknown hip-hop and techno. The patrons AND staff were all really friendly every time I went and i have never witnessed a fight there but im sure EVERY bar/club has them. There is a cool big screen where you can watch u or your friends dancing if you stand in the right place and you can dance up on the bar. There is enough people there so tis not empty and theres always a chance to get up on the bar. The line is never bad when I go and the cover is only 5 bucks. If youre expecting an upscale or sophisticated experience I wouldnt reccomend it but its great for the 21-28 crowd who just wants to go out and party id say. I LOVE the fact that they have staff members who go around and ask you if youde like a free shot poured in your mouth and just when you think its getting a little too hot in there they spray this cold foggy air out at everyone. Definitly a fun, laidback time for a typical college crowd.

BOUNCERS ARE THUGS/CRIMINALS. this place is so stupid, they serve alcohol and then when the kids (yes kids) fight, they bouncers instead of taking control by escoting them out...they FIGHT THESE KIDS and beat them to a pulp.

i have reported them already and suggest you stay away.

what i witnessed more than once there is a CRIME!

Trashy Fun. It's frat party everynight with Tikibob. Go early (9 or 10pm) to avoid the line. The expect trashy fun. Dance floors soaked with beer, drunk guys trying to untie your dress, staff dressed in bikini's, and watered down drinks. Great place to make a fool of yourself, taxis come by very frequently.

Great place to Dance. I would recommend Tiki's to people who are single and like to dance and mingle. Plenty to go around here. However there is no food and it gets very crowded. So if your looking to hang out with friends and catch up on old times, not the place.

the most laid back bar in town. This is a great bar to go to when you dont want to be surrounded by tons of people in one little side bar. The music is great, the prices aree reasonably inexpensive, the singles scene is incredible, and a huge dance floor in bewtween 2 bars makes it the best of both worlds!!!

A Polynesian pickup party complete with giant icon, palm fronds and Kool-Aid concoctions with a kick.. In Short
Hula skirt-wearing bartenders pour shots behind a bamboo bar as attractive young people dance to Top 40 tunes under the stare of an enormous glowing tiki statue (humorously resembling the Brady Bunch's cursed taboo). Although it's hardly Egypt or Maui, this cantina does possess a drink menu worthy of an Epcot international cocktail tour--and more than its fair share of plam trees.

Young and Younger. Fun place for the under 25 crowd. Gotta love girls dancing on the bar. Crowd seems almost TOO young.

very good bar. Tiki Bobs is one of the most easy-going bars i have ever been to. All of the other bars in the area are just as crowded and there isn't nearly as much dance floor. Unless you cannot dance like you are from earth, an enjoyable evening should be anticipated.

You've gotta be kidding me. UGH! The girls here are as snobby as they come. Not like the pre-pubescent DJ encourages that or anything by limiting the dance areas to girls only and pouring them free drinks all night. Worst mix of music I have heard in a looooong time. Maybe 1-2 dance songs followed by Vanilla Ice, then Bon Jovi, followed by AC/DC. (WHAT IS HE THINKING?!) DJ loves to blare this hideously annoying horn the entire night. The line is a nightmare - get there before 9, or don't come at all. Drinks are intended for diabetics - LOADED with sugar(?!).

The crowd is attractive, there is no doubt to that; expect the attitude associated with such a presentation. You'll drop $60-$80 here no problem. The crowd is primarily 23-28, dress like you are well-employed. Ample parking within 2-block radius. Take me word or find out for yourself...don't say I didn't warn you.
