Don't Believe What you Hear!. Don't believe what Jen tells you! I believe the child care here is very good here as my wife and I were impressed with the curriculum and had every intention of registering our child. However, that is where the issues arose with the owner Jen. It started off with her guaranteeing us a spot, us signing all the paper work and giving her our deposit. My wife and I were ecstatic that we were able to enroll our child here. Unfortunately, the excitement was short lived as we got a call 2 weeks later informing us that we could have our child enrolled from July to September, but then would have to find alternate accommodations October and November and then return in December. Obviously, this was NOT an option and not sure how Jen thought this was normal and easy for us to do. After we told her we could not do this she gave us a long diatribe about not returning deposits, but she would make an exception for us, are you kidding me!

My wife and I ended up finding another daycare and registered with them and we thought the Goddard School was in the rearview mirror. A few weeks ago, out of the blue Jen called my wife and said they had an opening for us. She said to talk it over with me and that we can discuss after her week vacation. After weighing everything, we decided that we would give them another chance and go back to the Goddard School. My wife called Jen and informed her that we would like to enroll in July (as all of our paperwork stated). Jen was taken aback by the July start date and said the opening was for June, which is still during my wife’s maternity leave. My wife informed Jen that we are interested only in starting in July, so Jen stated there was someone else on the waiting list for June and she would have to ask them first. Of course they wanted to register and we were out of luck again.

It’s amazing that Jen is able to run a business with her poor sales tactics and total lack of sensitivity to potential clients is appalling! We have heard other issues since ours regarding enrollment and scheduling with Jen. Beware of what she promises to you! Knowing what I know now, I would never trust sending my child to a daycare that is owned and run by someone who has total lack of respect for people!

An Institution with a HEART!. That's right, An Institution with a HEART. I wanted all 3 of my children to be challenged, as if they were in a regular school starting at 2 years of age! Although we did not want the “just another child” feeling; not only does the teachers know the names of their students but the administration knows the children and parents’ on a first name basis! We have been more than thrilled that we've chosen this specific Goddard School. Our older 2 children have already excelled in their elementary schools and we feel that it is a direct result of their Goddard School experience!
