A group of us recently went to this restaurant because it was very close to the society hill playhouse. All of us left with nothing good to say about this establishment. We waited extremely long for our food and their were many mistakes with the order and also alot that they had "run out" of. The menu itself was quite different than what was on the website and they no longer have a seperate vegetarian menu. We asked to speak with the owner about our food and when we did he was very rude to us (He even went as far as calling one of the women in our party a foul name). PLEASE do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!!

I recently just had the best romantic dining experience in a long time. From the moment we walked in the door the hostess gave us a warm smile and quickly sat us a table for two despite our lack of reservations. There were glowing candles on the tables along with silverware and water glasses, A giant fish tank sat behind us with some intruiging fish. She quickly brought us warm bread and took a drink order, which I had a special "Vesuvio Eruption" which was simply fantastic. Not long after we placed our food order it had arrived, Saku Tuna rare and crabcakes. The tuna was perfectly cooked and ever so nicely plated. The crabcakes were a golden brown with a taste to match there look apeal, I heard the cakes were the chef's specialty and some of the best in the city which I would have to agree. Within a few minutes of receiving our food the waitress checked on us to make sure everything was absolutely perfect, which it was! We cleared our plates and was offered dessert. Surely we went with the terimisu and chocolate brownie which were to die for! The chocolate brownie was more like a warm lava cake served with icecream..mmmm.. so good! It had to be one of the best restuarant experiences Ive had so far on this side of town. We quickly asked our waitress to book us a reservation for 4 this weekend in which we plan on bringing our friends.
Pros: Simply delighted, service with a smile , excellent food
