Very poor service. I have been a bartender since 1988. I've never received such poor service from an entire group of bartenders in my life. Being in the biz, I always tip well. At Mcmenamins Tavern, it doesn't matter what you do, the bar service is flat out poor, and unprofessional. They seem to take pride in their arrogance. The crowd is great. Waiting for your drink is not. Let them know. Others have too. They don't care. Go somewhere else

Very solid spot. I went there with my girlfriend for dinner this past Friday evening. It's a little small, so I imagine if you get there on a Friday or Saturday after 8, you'll be in for a squished wait. We waited for less than 10 minutes and we arrived around 7:15, though. I was most interested in their beer selection and I wasn't disappointed at all. They had a great draft selection including a good number of Belgians. We each ordered sandwiches which we both very much enjoyed. Everything was unpretentious. The food and beer were very affordable. I got a hot roast beef which I believe was $5.95. The two Belgian beers I got were $5 and $7 respectively, but they were served in large glasses. I assumed they would have been in a 10 oz glass. All in all, it's a great place which we will definitely visit again. Hopefully soon!

What's not to love?. Great food, Great beers, and Great staff! Definitely a great place place to grab some dinner and a few beers. Parking can be tight, but those in the know park in the free public lot in back.
