Perfectly Romantic and Cozy

by MandaCakes at Citysearch

I had the best time with my boyfriend at Langostini!

The service was friendly and tentative. The mussels were delicious. I had the Penne Special with shrimp and crabmeat in pink sause. It was magnificant. My boyfriend very much enjoyed the chicken Rollitini. It was the perfect place to wine and dine with my boyfriend.

Love having Langostini around the corner!

by SayNEthing7 at Citysearch

I live a stones throw from Langostini and I was so excited to learn that it's as good as it looks like it would be! If my boyfriend and I don't feel like cooking or going very far from the house we grab a bottle of wine and walk over to Langostini, every dish I've tried has been fantastic and they'll make anything you want to order if you don't see it on the menu. The taglietelle with mushrooms and Pancetta in pink sauce is so simple and delicious. The gnocchi is fresh and tasty, and I always get the Caprese salad which is always so fresh and amazing. We almost always bring house guests when we have them! Definitely worth a try. And if you're coming in from outside the city it's Easy on/off 95 and there's plenty of parking in the neighborhood.

Fantastic Italian

by bjkat81 at Citysearch

This is a very tasty Italian restaurant, intimate and for some reason, very easy to get a table without a reservation. Each time I've been I've ordered something different, and haven't been let down yet. Truly an exceptional restaurant.

great italian byob

by wisnerd at Citysearch

Went on a tuesday evening and we greeted warmly by our waitress, who was very attentive. The dining space is intimate but relaxing. I felt like I was at my italian aunt's house if I had one. Not pretentious at all. I had the spaghetti and meatballs (on promotion) - delicious. My wife had an arugula salad and the eggplant fettuchini which was fantastic. We were very happy to find a classy, yet relaxed and affordable italian byo to go to prior to a movie at UA riverview.

  • Pros: affordable, tasty, near the cinema

What a great find hidden away under I-95 in south Philly

by mikeweinstock at Citysearch

Went this past Saturday evening for the first time after being recommended by a co-worker. If you are a foodie, this is the place for you!!! This 40 seat outstanding restaurant is a wonderful destination. After parking your car under I-95, you open the door into this quaint Italian restaurant owned and operated by the nicest lady. Every meal is cooked to order and from appetizers to entrees to desserts, the food is top notch.

  • Pros: Great food, service that is easygoing and friendly, BYOB
  • Cons: The 1st table by the door in the cold weather
