This place is the best place to come and get any bakery item. It really easy for me and my boyfriend to come here, when we only live a few blocks away. I am always get the lime tart, sometimes i'll try something different but not very often. This little place has made tis mark in town and everyone I know loves it ................

Teeny bakery purveys all things sweet, flaky and crusty.. Teeny-weeny bakery purveys all things that combine those three food groups--sweet, flaky and crusty--out of a street-level walk-up window. Don’t blink or you might miss this bright pink nook that sells individually sized and elaborate tarts, pastries, brownies, scones, cakes and cookies out of its front window. Nudged between two Old City parking lots, the bakery juts out into the sidewalk, which is where you’ll have to sit if you’re thinking about doing anything besides eating your sweet treat on the run. Owner Teresa Wall started her business as a wholesaler to local restaurants; today, while she still bakes up goodies for a few popular dining establishments, most of her made-daily-from-scratch yummies go directly into the mouths of her retail clients.

Sweet teeth beware!. Tartes is a tiny brightly colored building that is locaed across the street from the Betsy Ross House. While it could be confused for a parking lot attendant booth (it's not all that big) it cranks out delicious pastries including an excellent key lime tart in the summer months. Less memorable are the sugar cookies, chocolate ginger cookies, and other chocolate creations. There's essentially just a take-out window that you saunter up here, because the kitchen takes up the entire premises. Not to worry, just head across the street to Betsy's patio and enjoy your twenty first century fare.

yummmmmmmmmmm!!!!. This little pastry shop is asolutely the best!!! THe pastries come in small individual sizes and if you can't decide what you want (believe me...this will happen) you can get an assortment of pastries for a reasonable price. The sweet potato pecan pies are like the yummiest thing ever and also don't forget to try the plum bread pudding with a drizzling of hot rum sauce.......aaaaaaah
