Thank you Steinbach Vet. My dog was recently diagnosed with a luxating patella, which required surgery. I was referred to Steinbach Vet by a vet friend and they were just fabulous. My dog and I felt welcomed and safe from the second we entered until she got her clean bill of health. They were cheaper by 50% than other vets and included all the follow-up appointments as well. Most importantly, they explained everything to me in detail and treated my dog like their own. I highly recommend Steinbach Veterinary Hospital, their wonderful staff and especially Dr. LaNunziata. Thank you Steinbach Vet!…
Great Vet Care.
I have brought my pets to Steinbachs for years and I have to say I never have any complaints! The doctors and staff are tremendous at what they do! Everytime I walk into the hospital I am
automatically greated with a warm welcome from the front desk. After checking in with the front desk I am taken into a examination room by one of the four amazing doctors they have! My pets always recieve the best care when they are at this hospital! The doctors here are much, much more concerned about the health of the pet as apose to getting the most out of my wallet, as I had
at other hospitals! All in all Dr. King and his wonderful doctors, techs, front desk, kennel and administrative department are truely wonderful, caring people and they well deserve more then 5 stars!!
And as a side note to the review I read earlier, if you have a question about your bill, just ask the front desk would be more then happy to help explain it to you! And also a hazardous waste fee is for needle disposal not a " poop" cleanup!…
Not sure for what I paid $48.00.
I wanted to giv ethis place no rating because I thought it was lousy but I had to give it a rating. One star is a stretch!
I took my puppy there for the first time and the Dr. didn't even examine her. She listened to the dog's heart, gave her a vaccination, and sent us on our way. No vet tech was there to put the dog on the table or hold the puppy still during the vaccination. My puppy pooed in the waiting room and I asked for papertowels to clean it up because I had a poo bag with me and instead they paged "kennel cleanup". I had a $2.50 charge for "hazardous waste removal" on my bill. As a new patient, I believe I should've been told. I would've gone to the restroom to grab toilet paper to wipe it up into the bag I had, had I known they'd charge me for it.
Dr. LaNunziata seemed to have no interest in my puppy whatsoever. The price of the visit was $48 and the Dr. listened to my puppy's heart and gave her a shot. The whole ride home I wondered what in the world I paid for! I would expect my vet is checking my dog's eyes, ears, feeling her body for anything out of the ordinary, taking her temperature, etc., everytime I take her there. Instead it was "your all done". I'm very disappointed considering it was a referral from a few people who gave the place rave reviews.
My other vet is quite far for me so I was looking for something closer to my home. My other vet gave a thorough examine at EVERY visit. Maybe it was the doctor I got at Steinbach?? Other people who referred this place see Dr. King and really like him.
I recommend asking what encompasses the cost of the visit since my puppy recieved not much of anything. The front desk staff aren't the friendliest either. They don't even make eye contact with you, it's almost as if you are bothering them.…
Best vet!.
Dr. Jonathan King and his staff are the best to be had in the Philadelphia area. I have been using their services since 2001 and have always been completely satisfied. The vets, every one of them,
are courteous and considerate and most importantly, compassionate. Dr. King is top notch. He is respectful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable in his craft. I can't imagine ever using another veterinary hospital for any of my animals.
Carol, Edie, Bob, and the rest of the front desk staff, including Terry and the kennel personnel all go above and beyond to assist clients whether in person or on the telephone. I don't want to overlook the fact that the prices charged here are exceptionally reasonable - especially when compared to other facilities. Their concern is definitely more for the animal than the almighty dollar.
I highly recommend the services of this vet hospital to one and all.…
shady establishment. if you board your dog beware!! they will give them a bath without your consent and then charge you an extra $27. true, this isn't a lot of money but the fact that this is their normal practice of business speaks volumes about what they are all about. avoid this place, who knows what else they clip people for...they will smile at you while they steal your wallet.…
