A M A Z A I N G ! ! ! Had dinner there tonight, found out it changed ownership 2 years ago. Not the same Grog as i remember.

Staff was phonemail, and the food was defiantly a belly filler. Defiantly worth the money spent.

They have an awesome selection of beers, also have craft beers on Tap!!!!

5 out of 5 for me tonight!

Defiantly a place i will go at least once a week

great pub food, clean and cosy. I've found this little restaurant to be cozy, cute, and reasonably priced. The food is above average for pub fare. They have a good selection of beers on draft. It can get a little busy with local college kids on the weekend, so it's good to get in early if you'd like a seat. If you can grab a table, it's a great place to share drinks with friends. Service has been okay, no complaints here. I'd recommend this if you're looking for a casual, quick meal with a couple of good brews.

Food and Atmosphere Good, Bad Service. I have lived within a block of the Grog for two years and have only had bad to neglient service there. The food is decent bar food. There are much better places to eat on the block, but no other bar...so depends on what you want.

home of the Grog burger. The Grog is a nice little neighborhood bar where you can chill out and drink a few beers. weekends it can be very crowded with Villanova students. weekdays not as bad. I highly, stronly recommend you order a Grog burger. The burgers are huge and very tasty. worth the trip just for the burgers

Great Food. If you're looking for a good place to grab a casual meal - the Grog is tough to beat. Reasonable prices - Non-Smoking on the second floor with plenty of seating and good sized bar to grab a drink before or after.
