Best Dentist I have ever been to. I have never liked going to the dentist, but since I got insurance through my job I wanted to use it. I am very lucky to have found Carp Dental. Their staff was very friendly. Dr. Carp spent a good deal of time with me on my first appointment, which is not common today.

Because it has been years since I went to the dentist I needed a good deal of work. They took the time to explain my dental insurance to me, explain all my options, then I was able to get a great smile on my budget.

They require your full SSN.. They accept Aetna insurance, but claim (says Ryan) that Aetna requires the full SSN. That is not so; I checked with Aetna, and they require from the provider only the last 4 digits of the SSN. Then Ryan said that Carp uses the entire SSN to identify all their patients. Current advice says ? Safeguard your Social Security number. This is perhaps the single most important bit of information about you. Don't carry your card with you, and, if possible, don't even tell anyone the number. I chose not to become a patient here. Carp would be wise to renovate its bookeeping practices. One bad apple in the bushel and a lot of identity theft can result. If Carp's dental procedures are equally obsolete (and inconsiderate) I would not want to go there anyway.
