Exceptional, Honest Service.
When my car broke down a few days before Christmas I got online to find a good mechanic/auto shop. I came across Fountain Street Auto Service and saw they had several raving reviews. I called AAA to have my car towed to this location and the tow truck driver even said. "Oh, you're going to be in good hands. Brian, the head mechanic, is a good guy - honest, fair and get's the job done right."
I'm hear to say - the reviews and the AAA tow truck driver were all correct.
The employees there are all good people, friendly and surprisingly young and up-to-date on different types of automobiles. I had my car back in two days... and I felt like I wasn't treated honestly and fairly when it came to the price of repairs. I was expecting it to be double the amount of what it actually came to.
Another nice thing about them - after I dropped the car off at the auto shop I was trying to call a cab to back back home. Seeing this, one of the employees at Fountain Street Auto Shop offered me a ride and refused to take any money I offered - they said, "Keep your money. You have auto work to pay for." It was a small gesture... but it was sincere and a deeply appreciated.
As long as I live in Philly, this will be the place I will take my car to and will always recommend to friends and colleagues.
Trustworthy and fair!.
Outstanding mechanics and fair prices. I never worry that I got ripped off here. With gas prices and the economy as poor as it it, it's one less thing to have to worry about.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Auto Mechanics with Integrity. We've been going to the Bishara's since Roxborough Getty on Shurs Lane. We drive old cars and they help us keep them running with honest options based upon what needs to be fixed. I trust them completely and after 10 years of service, they've earned it every visit!
Auto mechanic you can trust. Been going to Brian since he was located at the Gulf station on Shurs, he's very accommodating, very fair. They've take care of everything to keep my 96 cherokee on the road: new tires, brakes, PA inspections, oil, shocks, fuel filter, O2 sensors, crank sensor, etc (yeah the problem with old cars is they keep getting older.) Highly recommended, good guy, fast service.
