The Scene
Sitting on a prime corner of Main Street in Manayunk, Platypus is truly a sensual shopping experience. Sunlight pours through tall windows on both levels of the shop, making the rich textures and colors of the home furnishings and gifts that surround you all the more inviting. Shabby chic reigns supreme, with weathered home and garden furnishings, vintage-inspired wall hangings, and artsy-craftsy accent pieces making up most of the merchandise selection.
