not that great.
the staff was friendly although service was slow. I loved seeing them cut the meat as the orders rolled in. We had an italian, a diablo italian, and a chicken colette.
The rolls were a little tough rather than crusty. The meat was very good although a little inadequate in amount. The lettuce and other vegetables were passable but lacked a bright flavor. The hot pepper shooters were a little too sour and overpowered the other flavors. The chicken cutlet on the Colette was greasy and soggy, there was too much chicken and not enough ham. The swiss was fragrant and good though. So they get some things very right but are off target with others.
Overall, I wish there was a Slack's in this area because i would live there for my fave the Passyunk. or a Godfather. They've got decent steaks and pizza too.
Somebody PLEASE open a Slacks on Lancaster! You would make millions as this area is starving for good affordable eats. We need a Slacks Franchise now!
