The soups were tangy and had an excellent flavor-without going overboard. The main dishes (we are vegetarian) we excellent. Service-Tops!!!. someone said-I would eat here every day if I could. You know what-I agree!!!
I would eat here every day if I could!. Fantastic! I go for the $8.95 lunch special which includes choice of three different items. I highly recommend the coconut soup, shrimp and corn cakes and masaman curry combination. This is a substantial lunch, I always have to take some home. The coconut soup is excellent- a light, delicately flavored milky broth with onions, thin sliced mushrooms and pieces of chicken. The shrimp and corn cakes come with a wonderful sweet dipping sauce that has corn, crunchy pieces of diced cucumber, red and green pepper, and carrot. And the masaman curry contains chicken, sliced carrots, chunks of soft potato, onions and peanuts in a curry sauce that has a hint of sweetness to it. I'm sorry to report that as often as I go, I have yet to try any of their other dishes. I'm sure they are all wonderful, but I love this particular combination so I get it every time. The flavors are very interesting, not too much or too little of any ingredient. The service is excellent- pleasant, attentive and efficient. For someone who is not sure they are a fan of Thai food or worries that the food might be too exotic, tell them to give my combination a try- they will be pleasantly surprised. It is delicious, and it isn't too spicy. Parking has never been a problem for me during the lunch hour. Nadia is across the street from Lansdale train station.
Calling all Thai lovers!! A must....
Just moved home after living in Los Angeles for four years, where Asian food is on every corner (and good places too). This place is excellent.
When you first walk in, it's very tiny and looks a little worn, but don't fret because the food makes up for that. It's a neighborhood eatery at it's best. Service was friendly and quick.
The food is authentic and falovorful. We've eaten there several times and each dish has been excellent. The prices are low so you can try things without worry. Also, its BYOB so you can bring beer or wine too! A must. My wife and I drive 20 mintues out of our way at least twice a month....
Finally! Great Thai food!. I just moved to the area, so I've been looking for some good restuarants and have often been disappointed. Nadia Thai was by far the best Thai I've had in the area. The portions are large and very tasty. I had the Jungle Vegetable, and it was spicy, with a bit of curry flavor. I've never had this at any Thai restaurant and thought it was very satisfying and healthy. Lots of vegies as well as a good amount of chicken. My boyfriend got the pineapple fried rice, which he devoured! (As well as a good portion of my dish!) I also had the Tom Yum with shrimp. They actually gave a whole bowl, vs, a tiny little cup. It was delicious, although I would have liked it a bit tangier and spicier! Overall, I was very pleased and am excited that I found somewhere I can go have good Thai food. The big downfall of the place is that parking is tough. It's right across from the train station and there are a bunch of restaurants and businesses around. So we had to circle a bit to find a spot.
