Great food, but small portions. We ate there for the first time last night. Business was very slow and the restaurant was not crowded at all (Monday night around 7). The food was excellent, but the dinner portions were small. Our server, Jordan, was very nice - attentive without being overbearing. We ordered the calimari appetizer, which was outstanding. Definitely would order it again. I had the lobster ravioli - tasty, but not a lot of it. Same for DH's beef stew. Dessert was expensive but good - I had the chocolate bundt cake, DH the bread pudding special. We enjoyed both but at $6 each, they were pricey. Overall, a good experience but on the expensive side.
Do Me a favor and don't waste your time!. We have gone to the Dome on a few times in the past few years each hoping that it would improve but it never has...in fact the food has taken a turn for the worst since the new chef was hired. Our last meal included gummy, chewy calamari appetizer, five spice tuna steak that was fairly good, and terrible cioppino with overcooked fish, hard mussels and burnt toast squares. The service is variable...we rarelt complain but when we told our server about the cioppino she said "sorry you didn't like it" and then asked if we wanted dessert (that was fair at best). There are much better dining options here...just look to the right and go to the Crownery.
