Best Chinese Food In Delaware. I have been going to the crownery for about 10 years. There food is outstanding. I have never had a bad meal. There are so many good options. In many chinese restaurants the meat seems to be of poor quality. At the crownery they seem to use very high quality beef and chicken. I like my chinese food very spicey and when ask for extra they make it very good. My favorite dishes are chicken with garlic sauce, cold noodles in peanut oil, chicken or beef with hot peppers. I highly recommend this restaurant

A few thorns in this crown.... Formerly excellent Chinese and Mandarin cuisine has headed south. We always order the wonderful whole steamed sea bass that is served with rice. On our most recent visit the fish was very overcooked and had a distinct fishy odor. We called the manager over and told them about how the fish was overcooked and smelly and asked to try the duck instead. When we had the duck it was very fatty. Like 90 percent fat. What little meat there was was very tasty though. The biggest shock came at the end. We got charged for the fish *and* the duck. No apologies or anything. Needless to say we won't return.
