Editorial Review for Di Bruno Bros. Italian Market – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
Loyal patrons who once endured long lines and little elbow room in Di Bruno's original Italian Market location have a little more space to stand. Just a block or so north, in a former butcher shop, another DiBruno's Pronto handles takeout. DiBruno's Pronto serves the sae fast and fresh fare available in the Rittenhouse location: proscuitto sandwiches drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar, fresh mozzarella and tomato, imported tuna salads.

Wonderful selection of cheese, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar's Etc. I am sorry to say the soppressata is not the real thing. The authentic kind for one thing is always found hanging with no wrapping to air dry instead of stacked on a shelf like they display it. The fresh sheeps milk ricotta brought in from Calabria is excellent!

Pros: Excellent Imported Ricotta

Cons: Expensive

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I usually get my lunch from here at least once a week. I also get my cheese, olives, and bread from here. I've never been dissatisfied.

Pros: Great selection, Excellent quality, Friendly service
