In Short – Step aboard the ship at Penn's Landing for an afternoon or evening of cruising, dining and dancing on the Delaware Rver. Dinner with breathtaking skyline views is followed by professional entertainers and dancing. While the dinner cruise is the perfect choice for an intimate dinner, the ship also can accommodate parties as large as 500 people.
Surprisingly Great Service

My boyfriend and I went on the fireworks dinner cruise last summer for no reason and the whole experience was just great! We are both young college kids but the people at Spirit of Philadelphia were very courteous, attentive and treated us like actual adults.
First off, we were greeted by staff as we boarded. A very friendly guy seated us immediately. My boyfriend surprised me with the "romance package" which consisted of a table for two with a dozen pretty red roses (you get to keep the vase haha!) and champagne. We got lucky and scored a table next to the window.
The food was not amazing, but it was not horrible. It was a buffet style and the wait was not a problem. It was not cold and there was more than enough. I think they had roast beef, chicken, some types of pasta..my memory is hazy. What I remember the most was the atmosphere.
On board with us that evening were various couples of different ages and a group of college kids celebrating some type of honor. Everyone got along, and the songs they sang may have been a little cheesy but the singers' enthusiasm made up for it. The dancing and games were probably the best part.
The waiters were polite and the singers' were very amicable. I was apprehensive about the dinner cruise at first, but at the end of the night I was sad to say good bye to everyone on board--they were just so sweet.
They even handed out chocolate chip cookies at the end haha!
- Pros: On site parking, down to earth staff, pretty good desert, clean bathrooms
- Cons: None that I can think of

Very pleasant evening. Whoever wrote the poor reviews must have been off that night. The Spirit is pretty much as advertised. The food is good buffet food. The atmosphere is party like. Interior is nicely maintained and clean. You make of the evening whatever you want. Party down or a quiet corner with a cutie.
Overall good value. Pleasant staff.
- Cons: Smokers crowding on the deck can get to you - not their fault though.
Terrible staff

There is really no reason to do this. The food is buffet style, cold, and bad. The "cruise" tours the coastline of camden- a better view can be found staying on the dock. They stopped serving drinks well before they had to. The music was bad and hardly inspired dancing. The whole scene closely resembled a cheesy middle-school dance. Worst of all, the staff was agressive and disrepectful; I can not remember ever seeing paying costumers treated so badly. Do not waste your time or money.
- Cons: unfriendly service, bad food, ambience
