Fun n Yum. Attended a birthday dinner here a few weeks ago - there were about 10 of us. The decor is fab - you'd think you stepped in to Marrakesh! We were seated promptly. We ordered the feast - a little expensive, but you get a lot for the price. The bastil was fantastic. There we had 2 belly dancers and Both were great - I even got up to dance! The only drawback is that the place is hard to find unless you are a local. Highly recommended!

Unique and memorable. Well, rose petals covered the carpet leading to the restaurant door. More rose petals were scattered all over the restaurant including on top of our table. Combine tealight candles, many moroccan lamps, a red rose on our brass table, delicious aromas from dishes nearby on other tables and middleeastern tunes and there you have it, a night from 1001 nights. Our hostess, who turned out to be our entertainer also, explained to us what to expect, a complete Moroccan feast. Starting with a rose water hand washing ceremony and ending with sweet mint tea and baklova. Everything in between was delicious and entertaining to more than what my husband and I expected.

Little Marakesh is a must visit ;-] Wow, a true MOroccan experiemce to the bone.

True Moroccan cuisine in a casbah like setting with talented dansers and excellent service. I lived in Morocco for two years, I used to do Businness with the Moroccan Gov. However, I was really atracted by that north African paradize. The inspiration of the oriental culture mixed with a slite of the western traits that made that country a real paradize. One of the things that I was missing when I got back to the states, is Moroccan cuisine. So I decided to go to the Little Marrakech Moroccan restaurant. The servise was excelent, the food was fresh and delicious and the entertainment was performed by a talented and beatifull danser. Looking at some ratings about the restaurant I found out that some of the people didn't like some things while dining at the restaurant. However, I would stronly suggest making those comments straight to the management of the restaurant, that will be beneficial for both costumer and the service at the place.

Best tagines and basteelah, excellent entertainment and superior service. First, allow me to express how shocked I am at some negative reviews (probably written by other restaurants) It is sad to see people write lies and ,make up stories just to steal business from a well established and well run restaurant.

Well, I read some good reviews written by reliable sources such as news papers and magazines about Little Marakesh, so I had to go check it out. I decided to go this past Friday with a couple of my girlfriends. We were pleaseantly surprised. A Moroccan restaurant with a lot of class. the music they selected was nice, the servers were very friendly, the decore was exotic and the dancer was charming. The food was excellent, I had the chicken tangine with apricots and prunes, my friend had the shish kebab, my otyher friend had a vegetarian cous cous, it was excellent food (skip the grill tho)after all why would you pass delicatly prepared food like the tangines and the basteelah and go for simple grilled kebab!! come on!!! it's like going to France and eating at a MC Donald!!! This place is a sure winner, we loved and we are going back. Hmm! the only complaint I have here is that we had to wait almost 30 minutes for a table since we had no reservations. We will go back and we will make reservations this time.

I can't believe I came here 3 times. I blame myself partly for having come here 3 times. I came in the summer and the place was dead except for the staff or random people hanging out to smoke. I came in the Fall and it was alittle more crowded and the last time we came it was very crowded but it was with a bunch of young high school or college kids there for the smoke. Fine if you want a high school hang out but most positively not fine if you are looking for authentic dinning. The food my gosh the food. Where to begin - it was not warm much less hot it tasted old and reheated and the couscous was so dry we didn't finish it. The wait staff was friendly but some seemed clueless and I found it odd how the waitres ate a part of my food I had discarded on her way back to the kitchen. I have been there 3 times and seen the same dancer everytime. Again if you advertise authentic it should be authentic not modernized gothic dancing which was fine but not authentic like they say. The dancer was friendly despite the rude gestures she was getting from the teens. I guess no other dancers will work with the teenagers rude comments. I wouldn't have bothered to write a review as it is not my style to do so if it were not for the hords of rude teens - they ruin the entire dinner and pack in after 9 to smoke all over people trying to eat. If you want authentic dinner, authentic dancing and a place that doesn't shuffle in loud rude drunk teens head to City Line the best by far.

Best chicken tagine, mesmorising ambiance, cool staff, the best hookah. Little Marrakesh is absolutely fab. We went for a friend's birthday dinner and we had a lovely time. The ambiance of the place is great, the candles and soft lights along with the music and decore. The food is absolutely delicious- you must try the bastila and the chicken tagine. Oh my God, we couldn't get enough. The hummus plate with all different kinds of salads was so good- and this is coming from somebody who doesn't even really like hummus. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and super cool. The kebobs were great. And we ended the night with jasmine-rose-flavored hookah. It was just a lovely night and the ambiance of the place really made it great. And while not dirt cheap, it's definitely affordable. This is the kind of place that people look for to experience the unique and memorable. I will definitely be back.

Delicious food, mesmorising dancers, great ambiance, excellent service and the best hookahs!!!!. I love everything about this restaurant!!!

I'm a constant customer, I probably go there at least once a month. The food is always great! I especially love the Atlas Bastilla, the spiced eggs (which my accomplices confuse with ground meat, usually) are such a nice combo with the shredded chicken and nuts!

When I first started going there, I had never had a hookah. now I'm a huge enthusiasts. I love smoking a tasty hookah while enjoying my favorite foods.

As for the dancers, I am always so jealous! They are always so good. I don't mind the projections of the dancers on the wall while the real dancers aren't out. There has been only one or two instances when they didn't have a real one on a weekend night when I was there, but the waitstaff apologized profusely and explained that they had fallen ill (on one occasion) and on the other that she had some car trouble.

The service is always great or more! I love it there so much. Everyone is so nice. The owners recognize us when we go! It's such a comfortable and amazing place.

I can't do it justice in text, go try for yourself!!

(oh, it's BYOB. but make sure you have proper id for they card everyone. They card for hookah also, you must be 18. in reference to what the other review below said, I am sure the competing restaurant is

behind it to take some business away. Stop hating!!! )

Average, over-priced food, horrible service, loud & obnoxious high school/college kids. Litlte Marakesh, Little Marakesh... hmmm... where can I start... as a matter of fact, I just went there last night for the first time, and am sorry to say that it will be my ONLY time there. The evening started out with me and my friend convincing the waitstaff that we actually DID have reservations, as we were only asked 200 times by nearly everyone there, as if they seemed to think we were lying to them. Nearly 20 minutes after we got there were we finally shown to our table. Over the course of the evening, our waitress, a borderline-competent (albeit benign), vacuous bimbo, who wore a plunging neckline as if to distract from her sheer stupidity and lack of attentiveness: 1.) forgot my silverware on two separate occasions, 2.) mistakenly gave us the doggie-bag of the people sitting at the table next to us, 3.) miscalculated the bill by nearly DOUBLING our total cost.

Intermittently, in the midst of this dining debacle that happens to go by the name of Little Marakesh (doesn't the correct spelling of the Moroccan city contain TWO R's??), dozens of rude, aggressive high school-aged kids came filing in, occupying seats around us, yelling obscenities to each other and bumping into me while sitting at my chair and trying to eat. This seemed to be the bulk of the clientele from 10:00 on. Now - I'm waving a GIGANTIC red flag to any place which boasts ethnic authenticity and ultimately caters to a throng of slack-jawed, culturally-ignorant kids just looking for a place to get drunk (it's BYOB, by the way, I'm sure someone's older brother hooked 'em up with beers)...

The FOOD (finally) wasn't at all special; I've had better microwave meals, for which I paid only $2.99. The Atlas Bastilla's warqa was spectacularly DRY, as was the couscous, and exorbitantly priced as the portions were laughably small. If you have $27.99 burning a hole in your pocket, take it to Applebee's for some true strip-mall-esque, good-ol' fashioned dull American cuisine.

Best Party Spot...Groovy!!. We were here nyeve n boy this place knows how to throw a party. There were 12 of us ready to ring in the new year unique n exotic style. Moroccan style we decided n we had it. The delicious food kept coming including vg goodies for our two vegetarians. The entertainment didn t stop n the staff were marvelous.

Hey, this place is awsome for parties especially that they allow u to byob. Fun and exotic wow!!!!!!

We'll b there again soon for some of us are hooked. Thank you marrakech

Little Marakesh has become a family tradition. I just love this place! My family and I have become regulars here over the years. It has been a tradition that we dine at little marakesh at least twice a year around the holidays. I have watched this unique eatery grow year after year. I have always admired the decore and entertainment. As for the food, it has been consistently excellent. The service, on the other, hand was not up to my expectations at times, but recently I noticed the place vibrating with new servers who performed to my expectations. our waitress in particular was excellent.
