Bring on the funk: Cool salon offers duds and DJs..
In Short
If ever you doubted Northern Liberties' status as the up-and-coming Philly neighborhood, just pop your head into this funky little 2nd Street storefront. A curly-lashed mannequin with a blond Afro and glossy red lips stands by the door; bias-cut skirts and mechanic's suits hang on a rack of oh-so indie garments. Beyond a cushy sofa of iridescent peach leather hang two tall mirrors and turntables for guest DJs.

it's ok.
This salon was alright, but nothing special. I thought it was a little overpriced and I had to wait 45 minutes for my stylist, who then proceeded to cut my hair as quickly as she possibly could (I was the last appointment of the day and i think she wanted to get home). The haircut itself was pretty good, but nothing to write home about.

This is the best salon in town. I started going to Closet Fever in April and I love this place. Christina is amazing. I always come out with the best highlights and cuts and always receive compliments. It is not pretentious as most salons are. You feel comfortable when you are there.

Unique and refreshing!.
The concept behind Closet Fever is completely unique and refreshing! Getting your hair done is a great experience. The owner is skilled in special occasion hair and make-up. Having hair done up is expensive with JC but worth it!
