Excellent Budget Friendly Lunch

This was my first time trying Indonesian food and it was great. We ordered the Lunch Special menu (coose 1 appetizer, 1 soup and 1 entree) for 6.99! The price cannot be beat. Portions are huge with plenty leftover to take home.
These are some of the best dishes: Tamarind soup, Fried stuffed tofu appetizer
amazing food

The food and service here are amazing. I grew up eating Indonesian food and this definitly holds it down. I would recommend the rice stafel if you have never had Indonesian, because it offers you a variety of their different dishes to try. It also comes with the best salad, as well as soup and dessert. So make sure to bring your appetite!
Good food/atmosphere

The food was very good. I was with indonesians who were happy with the food which tells me that the restaurant offers authentic meals. It is not expensive also !!!! The only inconvenience is the parking, very hard to get a parking spot specially on a saturday night but that applies to anywhere you go in philly on saturday.
Amazing... an absolute jewel.

Just ate there for the second time in the past few months. This place is absolutely amazing! The service is extremely attentive. It was quick and everpresent, yet without ever feeling forced or annoying. The food is extremely tasty... the blends and combinations of foods are marvelous. If this is authentic food, I'm ready to move! I highly recommend the Tahu Telor (tofu, eggs, & bean sprouts with the most amazing sauce), Rujak Manis (mixed fruit with peanut sauce), and Kolak (mixed starchy vegetables & fruits in a sweet coconut broth). The Babi Asam Manis (sweet & sour pork) is more savory and tasty than the Chinese-takeout version. My wife liked her Tumis Tauge Tahu (tofu, bean curd, & bean sprouts), although she thought it a bit more homogenous than the other dishes. The portions are huge, and they were happy to pack up the leftovers.
- Pros: great tasting food, moderate portions, generous portions
- Cons: parking
