In Short
Roy Yamaguchi opened his first restaurant in 1988 in Honolulu, Hawaii, blending European cooking techniques with locally produced ingredients and Asian spices. Today, his Hawaiian-fusion cuisine is served in a sophisticated atmosphere with dark woods, Asian accents and contemporary, island-inspired art. In addition to "Roy's classics" like Hawaiian-style misoyaki butterfish and the popular melting hot chocolate souffle, each location offers daily specials prepared by the local chef, all of whom are trained personally by Roy.

This was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. When I arrived, the managers were too busy talking to notice that I wanted to be seated. The server took a long time to approach our table, and was not knowledgable when I asked what the different types of fish were. Way overpriced. I will never return.

When you are looking forward to a meal this much, there is usually something that doesn't live up to expectations- Not at Roy's! The service was incredible, our waitress was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. The appetizers were fantastic, I loved my Philly Cheesesteak egg roll! My mahi mahi was so light that I had room left for the heavenly chocolate dessert. The prices are high, but not inappropriate for a nice restaurant. Overall, fabulous service paired with incredible food. I can't recommend Roy's highly enough!

Having Dinner at Roy's was a rewarding experience. The ambience, service and food are outstanding! The choices of food gave my guests and I a chance to taste and explore a vast array of dishes from the Hawaiian culture. Everything was delicious! The staff was superb! This is a very comfortable and friendly fine dining experience. We will definitely return and refer others to this fine restaurant.
