In Short – Gaze into the deli case to see the culinary gifts of Chef Anne-Marie Lasher (who directed Fork's kitchen). Don't miss the romaine and Gorgonzola salad, dressed in honey-garlic and mixed with spiced pecans, or any one of Lasher's dips, hearty sandwiches or nightly dinners-to-go. Count on great chocolate-espresso brownies and lemon bars and decadent pot de creme. What's more, Picnic will gladly pack a basket with a meal (or just goodies), and send you on your way.
The same as it's always been---fresh!

Just stopped by here after many years absence. It was like going home. Consistency is Anne-Marie's ultimately specility...if you like some of it, you'll probably like all of it.
I am glad I stopped by---and suggest you do as well!
The best place on Earth.

This is the single most amazing restaurant under the entire canopy of Heaven. You must eat here. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is amazing too!! Try the cranberry/maple granola with yogurt and fresh strawberries. You will not be disappointed with a single item on the menu!
Have a picnic

I totally forgot about this place until I ran across from it again one afternoon. It is tucked a bit from Penn campus, right across from the Penn skating rink. I love the sandwiches that they have here. I have yet asked them to pack a picnic basket...maybe next time.
- Pros: Sandwiches, picnic baskets
