In Short
The Fire almost feels like your friend's basement, if your friend had the space and the wherewithal to invite chill bands over to perform for the benefit of a bunch of friends drinking beer and Jack n' Coke poured by a mellow bartender. Signs plaster the walls advertising liberal political candidates and politically correct causes, and hand-painted artwork makes one ask if they are, in fact, at a coffeeshop instead of a grungy yet friendly bar. Bands play almost every night of the week and have included some jaw-droppers for such a small space: Bill Kreutzmann (from the Grateful Dead), John Legend, Jason Mraz, My Chemical Romance, Dr. Dog, Damien Rice and Antigone Rising. Cover charge is usually just a few bucks, but if even that's too steep, hang out at the bar in the ante-room and watch the musicians on a closed-circuit TV.

Loud, dark and live music and real down to earth people. Club Fire has a set up with the Curb Side Chief down the street so you can order a good meal while you're enjoying yourself with the Live music. -Al

The Fire is a low key local bars with many neighborhood regulars. They get a pretty good selection of bands here and I've heard from musicians that they treat band well. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving they always have a good show lined up. Check it out.

The bar is located right next to the fire station thus the name. This is a very low key bar which more functioned as a neighborhood bar one point of its history, but was taken over by a younger owner. With music venue attached, this has been gravitating younger crowd and it has a great mixture of people. Very reasonable and do not serve food almost at all.
