STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The clothes there look so bad! You will do a lot better going to a thrift store! The clothes and jewelry look VERY CHEAP!

The workers must not be very selective of the clothes, because not only are they cheap-looking, but I've found that most of the selections are dirty!

Worst of the worst. As a consignor:

They wasted an hour of my time going through my wardrobe of mostly high-end designer stuff only to tell me they would take nine items but have this dumb rule that they only accept ten plus items, no exceptions, even though I had an account with them. They asked me to take everything back and come back with one more item. I don't think so. The other consignment shop was happy to take everything. So they lost a couple of hundred dollars there. And I will not be back as a consignor.

As a shopper:

As I was waiting for my turn, I ended up buying a Trina Turk sweater from the "Featured Item" rack (not cheap). When I got home I noticed two holes in the sweater. I only got to go back 10 days later (it's out of my way) to show them the faulty sweater. In broken English they accused me of being responsible for the holes, pointed at their sign that reads "no returns or exchanges" and would not take responsibility for their poor quality control. It was really outrageous and so incredibly rude. The customer is always right!!!

In conclusion:

Avoid this horrible place at all costs. They do not have any quality control and will blame you if you dare to come back with defective merchandise. There are many more options with better selections all around the city, where you will not get a: "Well, this is used, what do you expect?" and "You should have inspected the item before buying it."kind of attitude. It is their job to check the items before consigning them.

Try Second Time Around, Fleur de Lis Boutique, Sophisticated Seconds and many more!

Nearly new duds at less than new prices: a South Street consignment shop with mass appeal.. In Short
Clean, seasonal clothes that are less than two years old make up most of the stock, though there are a few well-preserved vintage finds, too. Women's clothes include rubber short shorts from Frederick's of Hollywood, a plaid-lined Anna Sui jacket, preppy capris and floral sweaters. Plus, there are mucho duds for fellas, including suits, khakis and indie rock gear galore. Tags to seek: J Crew, Banana Republic, DKNY. Shoes are virtually brand new and include both conservative Nine West pumps and funky Steve Madden platforms.

designer clothing great prices. I found versace pants, ann taylor leather skirt, christian lacroix skirt, betsey johnson dress and loads of banana republic and most things were under $20. The most I paid for anything was $40. They seem to have a big turnover and everthing was clean and pressed. Helpful sales people. Great bargains and then tour South Street for people watching and funky stuff.
