In Short – Located between Christopher Columbus Elementary School and the Italian Market, this former bakery is bright and cozy. A chandelier made from giant whisks hangs from the ceiling while artwork is displayed in a glass case in the front. For breakfast, choose from apple and sharp cheddar omelets, whole-wheat pancakes, homemade granola and tofu scramble. For lunch, try a turkey Reuben, vegetarian cheese steak, meat loaf platter, sweet potato fries and a mug of hot chocolate.
Great place for breakfast/brunch

My wife and I decided to try Sabrina's for brunch this past Sunday after a friend recommended it. We both had the caramelized challah french toast, with a side of eggs (I had egg whites while she had scrambled with cheese) and turkey bacon. We were shocked when our food came out because the serving size is HUGE. I've heard people rave about their french toast. To be honest, it wasn't the best french toast I've had, but it was definitely good.
When we first arrived, we were told that it would be a 40 minute wait. We walked through the Italian market and came back within 15 minutes and we were told that there was a table available for us...NICE!
Sabrina's is a small place, but it has a "homely" feel to it due to its size. Depending on your appetite, you can probably get away with sharing a plate based on the portion size they provide.
Overall, I would definitely eat here again. Next time, I'll try the stuffed french toast. It's stuffed with cream cheese and topped with fruit of your choice and it looks delicious.
- Pros: Great breakfast. Serving size is huge.
- Cons: Only negative may be the size.
