Davio's is a stylish, up-scale northern Italian steakhouse located on the second floor in the historic Provident Bank Building just off of fashionable Rittenhouse Row. Editorial Review for Davio's – by Christine Galati

The Scene
The official restaurant of the Club Quarters hotel (and part of a Northeast mini-chain), Davio's occupies a second-story space that once held a bank office. The restaurant has exchanged the staid cubicles for an airy dining room bathed in beige and cream hues and accented by dark hardwood floors. Private party rooms and an outdoor terrace offer additional seating on the penthouse level.

The Food
The northern Italian cuisine is uniformly inventive and consistent, made more enjoyable by the impeccable, knowledgeable service. Calamari frito combines squid with fried strips of onion and fennel and a sweet-mustard sauce; chicken livers are exquisitely sauteed with dried cherries, pine nuts and a balsamic reduction. Entrees, which include fresh pastas, dry-aged steak and a velvety grilled salmon deftly paired with almond risotto, succeed uniformly. Desserts are equally stunning, particularly a pineapple-studded pound cake with homemade coconut ice cream.

so a friend works near this place and frequents the happy hour. he said we have to go to davio's. i parked for $9.50 in a garage around the corner for which they validate the parking. the host greeted us with a genuine smile and professional anticipation. we sat down and the server was a kind of welcoming that made us think i was in his own home. every ingredient on the menu was the best on the market. it was pricey but valuable. the service was seamless. the food was the best of it's kind. and then this tall, blonde manager came to our table. he talked to us about what we were up to and how we found out about davio's. while he was talking to us i realized for the first time a restaurant truely made us feel like we were the most important people there. we are out for dinner once a week and now look forward to davio's atleast once a month.

My fiancée and I recently had dinner at Davio’s. She kept asking me to take her there—she had heard so many good things from her coworkers. We had an amazing dinner, our steaks were perfect as was the tiramisu and service. I have been to many good steakhouses in Philadelphia and Davio’s is now at the top of my list.
