In Short – This cool little space heats up when it reaches capacity--it's usually populated with a young crowd resembling the DJ who's spinning, with an occasional dressed-up, stray group from South Street. The unmarked door in the alley just off of Fourth Street opens to a tubelike stairwell. There's one ba, a small balcony overlooking the small dance floor and a cozy third-floor lounge next to unisex restrooms with curtains for doors.

Weekend Fun Spot

My husband and I finally had a night to ourselves so we decided to find the new hot spots in Philly. We found Fluid on this site and went. The DJ was awsome and the drinks were reasonable and made well depending on who made them. Dance floor was big enough to have a good time. It didn't get crowded to after 12. Which was good because you really don't have anywhere to sit. So, if you want to go somewhere and kick back a few drinks in a booth with friends this is not the place. Also, if you don't mind sharing a male and female bathroom this is the place for you. That was just the turn off for me. Not to safe in my book especially in a loud club.
- Pros: DJ, Music, Crowd
- Cons: Seating, Restroom, Certain Bartenders
One of the friendliest places I have been

I went on the first firday of the month and it turns out that it is a dance party night. With Afrorican Vibe as the sound of choice. The music is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome, and if your closing the place down expect to be wished a good night by the crowd that is left and asking you to come back next month. Only club I have been to in the states where I can say "...and then they broke out the bongos!" Wonderful time and yes you will see me next month! Could have done without all the incense though?
- Pros: Music, People, Friendly
- Cons: small dance floor, incense
Divas that Dance

I was a regular on Thursday nights for 6 years, and although D&B is no longer the scene, it's still the same dance-worthy spot. It's tecno now, but I still saw some of the old faces there. I am anxious to see what DJ's are on their new line-up, since everyone Fluid has ever brought in has been good. I like the darker nights like Thursday and Sunday. Come if you dare!
- Pros: Great DJs, Friendly Atmosphere
Awesome Saturdays

Saturday nights are great w/ DJ Questlove (you can't go wrong with The Roots when it comes to true hip hop). The vibe is live and blazin'. Love the diverse crowd it attracts, though space becomes a hot commodity after 11pm.
- Pros: Diverse, Hot Music, Casual vibe
- Cons: Small , South St Parking
