We were given such a hard time about making reservations. The food took FOREVER!!!!! The band started and no one announced to maybe go up if you were here for the music. And to the shock of the paying audience and the band the show lasted 1.5 hrs???? The band acctually apoligeized, they are professionals who like to give the paying audience a show, that is what they get paid for. Go eat at the continental and listen to music somewhere else. It a shame they obviously are not there to please thier customers!

This is still one of my favorite places to hear music. The small venue is intimate and the sound is good. Lotsa good local folks play here and bigger acts go acoustic sometimes too. It's small so it often sells out, so buy early. The bartenders are cool and often are musicians as well. The place usually has a good vibe and shows start on time.

We've been to the Tin Angel many times and it's a great club to see an intimate show. The sound is very good. They usually have Dogfish Head on draft which we greatly appreciate. The layout is awkward but manageable. You have to walk by the stage to get to the bathrooms, literally brush past the performers, but they usually don't mind, wink! I love that they often have earlier shows which makes for a reasonable evening out for an old girl like me.
