Amazing Steak and Lobster. Their Surf and Turf was delicious. My girlfriend had Lobster as well and hers was just as delicious, but different, which was very nice. The waitress seemed a little dead, but I think she was new, so it was ok. Though not the best I've had, the Calamari was an excellent appetizer.

I first heard of Marmont from restaurant dot com, which is a great site for gift certificates at 50% off. I've been to about 10 restaurants from that site and Marmont is definitely the best!

Marmont - New and Improved. I hadn't been to Marmont for about six months, and I was surprised to see the updated decor (it's about time) and new feel to one of my favorite Old City spots. As usual, the food was great, but the additions to the menu (cheesesteak spring rolls are a must...as are the quesadillas) and the new seating/lighting inside make it a must if you haven't been there. The service was good (better than my experience at some other local spots) and the staff took care of me like one of their own. It's a good idea to stuck around for the nightlife to take over after dinner...I caught the DJ on a Friday night and the guy was hot (in terms of music)...and the crowd got more beautiful as the night went on...supposedly the weeknights are also good (Tuesday, Thursday) but I haven't experienced that first hand yet...but I will...and my only advice is if you haven't been to Marmont in months, you're missing out. Whoever was behind the updates, please accept my thanks for spicing up one of my OC favorites.

Amazing steak and burgers!. The steak is a bit expensive but it is absolutely mouth-watering and crave-able. And, better yet, burgers are only run you around $10 and are also incredibly delicious.

Old City's lone steakhouse lures the pretty boys and girls for hand-carved steak, 30 different martinis and late-night lounging.. In Short
Cozy and intimate, this steakhouse has been voted the best place to see and be seen by local magazines. A young professional crowd favors Marmont for its customized cuts of beef, summer sidewalk seating, DJs spinning house music from Thursday to Saturday nights and yes, those martinis, all 30 of them, 20 of which are fixed year-round and another ten that surprise guests on each visit. Owner David Chiavoroli prides himself on pricing his steaks lower than other Center City steakhouse and includes a potato or veggie dish.

Surprisingly great dinner. I was visiting Philly with a friend and stumbled upon Marmont. The service was impeccable, & very accommodating, even for us fussy eaters. I had the seafood soup and salmon for an entre, with sauteed mushrooms and steamed broccoli. Both were absolutely delicious. I wanted to keep eating, even though I was full! The wine list is nice, affordable. I would go back again and again.

Big MiSTEAK!. Service WITHOUT a Smile was prominent here. Marmont sports arrogant waiters and a rude restaurant manager that doesnt care about the customers. The food was nothing to rave about either. Out of all the places Ive had filet mignon, this was definitely the fattiest piece Ive ever seen in my life. If you want to waste $50 a person on a bad meal, this is the place to go. And, make sure youre dressed in your finest duds or the staff will quickly escort you to an outside seat- rain or shine!!!

tuesday nights. Tuesday nights are great at the Marmont. With Opium Tuesdays, there's a different theme every week, and guaranteed drink specials. (ladies, $5 apple martinis?) The dj is phenomenal, and never fails to get the Tuesday crowd going.

Smokin'!. Went here for New Year's eve and it was fabulous. The bartenders are awesome and do quite a performance for the crowd, complete with flaming liquor bottles. The bar was nicely crowded (not packed-in), the music was good, and there was enough room to dance. If you are looking for a trendy bar with both sitting areas and dancing, this is the place for you.
