To motorists cruising on Interstate 76 across the Schuylkill River, Boathouse Row is a series of charming Victorian structures decorated with Christmas lights all year round. To the seemingly infinite number of joggers, rollerbladers and dog walkers of Kelly Drive, Boathouse Row is a picturesque place to stretch or adjust laces. But to rowers everywhere, Boathouse Row is the center of athletic activity in Philadelphia.

Baot House Row RUles. Boat house Row is part of the history of Philadelphia that is still apart of the everyday person. Kelly Drive brings together differents schools, states, and countries to compete in regattas on the famous Shuykill River. If Boat House Row wasn't apart of Philadelphia then I would very disappointed because I one of many who is down on Kelly Drive almost everyday for rowing.
