In Short – The winding four-mile road follows the Schuylkill River from the Philadelphia Museum of Art to the Falls Bridge. The drive formerly known as East River was renamed for the late John B. Kelly, Philadelphian, President of the Fairmount Park Commission, and father to actress and Princess Grace. You'll pass the Waterworks, Boathouse Row, the edge of Laurel Hill Cemetery, the Rock Garden, a mighty stone bridge and more sculpture than it's safe to look at while driving.

You better be sober on this drive, it winds like crazy and really is the most serene cruise you could ever take. Just thinking about it now makes me want to take my mom out there from NJ for a ride.

One of the best places to work out, lots of friendly people, beautiful greenery, and artwork. perfect place to run, walk or take your dog. Gets a little crowed during the regattas, but pathways usually have plenty of room for all pedestrians.
- Pros: Scenery, Atmosphere
