Great Food!. I've been to the diner many times and I must say I love it! Their burgers are delicious and I go every wednesday because they're only 3.50! I've had good dinner entrees and the servers are always friendly. And on game nights I stop by and pick up my six pack because I can pick and choose my beers!

Great food and awesome beer selection!. I've been to the Trolley Car Diner several times and the food has always been great. Their new deli has great paninis and a massive selection of beers to take out.

Good food and a Deli with lots of beer!. They have the best breakfast at reasonable prices and the staff is really friendly. I love that they have a deli too! I put in my deli order while I'm dining and it's ready for me when I leave....and they put it on the same check! It's just too easy! Oh, they have really fresh meats and cheeses and over 75 beers!

horrible, rude service - don't go there - avoid!. All I can say is - avoid this place like the plague. Horrible, rude service, even ruder management. Just don't go there.

Change of ownership......Change your diner. I have gone to the trolley car diner since it opened in 2000. I was excited to have a diner in the area, great staff, great food.......But now, construction is on, wait has tripled, new owner, staff turn over, sloppy, slow, rude, customer friendly please(don't make me laugh).....watch for discolorations in your food....would not put it past them now.

If your lucky and get someone from the old staff (you will get the same great service) if not watch out.

Elfant....how could you do that to the community....or was it just business??

Trans Fat Free!. Great Trolley Car! Zero trans fat deep frying oil. Loved the New Menu as in 6/15/07. The soft shell crabs are delicious, very tasty and different. Great experience! My kids loved it. Kids' frriendly place. The Bussboy was a little loud cleaning tables, but the music was great and made up for it.

Crash and Burn. Well, maybe Trolley Car Diner isn't that bad. It was very easy to find, but parking spaces (at least on Sunday morning) were scarce. If I went there with a large group, we would've waited a long time for a table. Instead, me and my boyfriend sat at the counter. We weren't served promptly or quickly. I can't really blame them: Sunday Brunch time is busy! The menu consists of typical diner fare. I had eggs over easy, grits, and (er, microwavable) sausage and burnt toast. I haven't had much luck with diners in Philadelphia. Stay clear of Trolley Car Diner if you are looking for prompt seating, fast diner service, and hot breakfast food.
