What People Are Saying About South Street Coin & Jewelry

In Short – A collection of shops, restaurants, bars, tattoo parlors, clubs, vagrants, tourists, locals, kids, adults and used gum stuck to the sidewalk; South Street is the place to cruise on any night of the week. There are enough chain stores and restaurants to placate the city-weary suburbanite adults, while there are enough odd-ball outfits to keep kids busy. There are clubs like Fluid, bars like Tattooed Mom and dining/spinning ventures such as Guru.

South street is an awesome place to just go and relax on a casual weekend afternoon. Incredibly unique shops, wonderful food and an alternative atmosphere unparalleled by any other place in the city. You can make a whole day of shopping, eating and walking down this long strip of fun shops and restaurants.
- Pros: Great food, great stores, tons to see and do
- Cons: Not much parking
A cool place to visit
by SweetMissG at Citysearch
South Street has lots of fun things to do, and cool places to browse. I agree with MrGXX64...the parking gets ridiculous....I don't know if I could visit as often as MrG, but I definitely could spend several hours exploring all the cool stuff and watching all the different types of people who hang out on South Street.
- Pros: Unique Shops, Lots of Music Stores, Cool Bargains
- Cons: Parking
