In Short – The Center opened in 1996 with game one of the World Cup hockey finals. Since then, a multitude of shows have graced the arena's floor, from Flyers home games and Ice Capade performances to music concerts by Madonna and KISS. The 76ers play there, as do the Wings, the city's scrappy major league lacrosse team. It boasts ample local and national food vendors as well as several restaurants.
GREAT SHOWS BUT THE SEATING...
by HALFITALIAN
I have seen plenty of concerts here. However the seating is low-end to poor. If you are not sitting on the floor or in a special box section, you will get cramped.
I recently saw Cher and sat in the reserve box section. They have to be the best seats I have ever had. It had a private bar and restroom. I thought this was great.
However most of the other section, the general population usually sits, is too tight. It seems whomever designed this stadium, had to cut corners somewhere. All in all, it is not too bad.
- Pros: FOOD, RESTROOMS-CLEAN, DRINK
- Cons: SEATING, PARKING, PRICES TOO HIGH

The x games were the best thing to this city. The city raised a lot of money off of the people who went to the x games. but the thing that is messed up though is that the money the city made off of the people who went to the x games they took that money and killed one of the best skateboard places in the world Love Park (R.I.P.). any way i think that the city should have more xtream events. more people come to see skateboarding, dirt biking, wakeboarding, roller blading, and bmx then other sports like basketball, football and hocky.
- Pros: meeting skateboarders
- Cons: long lines
the FU Center is ok
by utah
the FU Center replaced the old Spectrum in Philly. the Flyers and Sixers play here. while not as loud as the old Spectrum it does have a more modern feel. there is a Red Bell mico brew pub right in the arena and thats a place to meet up with friends before or after the game. overall the FU Center has served Philly well and most Philly people have grown to like it
- Cons: parking sucks
